Palm oil supplies improving

The Agricultural Economics Office has assured that palm oil supplies will soon be sufficient for consumption and industrial use. Officials estimate 900,000 to one million tonnes of palm nuts will enter the market next month, enough for 100,000 tonnes of crude oil. A survey of major producing provinces in the South showed output should average one million tonnes a month for the next six months before dropping to 800,000 tonnes. Bangkok
