The merger of two chemical units of PTT Plc, which the national energy flagship is scheduled to announce today, is being welcomed by analysts and investors for its potential to add value to the assets. The PTT executive board yesterday approved the merger of PTT Chemical (PTTCH) and PTT Aromatics and Refining (PTTAR), and directors of the two affiliates are expected to follow today. – Bangkok Post
