The Federation of Thai Industries yesterday urged the government to propose the establishment of an SME fund at the 41st Asean Economic Ministers Meeting this week. “It is necessary to have the fund to help small businesses handle the tougher competition when the Asean Economic Community starts in 2010,” FTI chariman Vilassakdanont said.
